Icon: Twiggy
English supermodel Lesley Hornby is nicknamed Twiggy due to her slim figure and childhood nickname Twigs. She was most popular in her teenage years modeling in London in the 1960's. She became iconic due to her androgynous looks, large eyes, long eyelashes, thin built and short hair. She is still well know today and has appeared as a guest judge in the television show America's Next Top Model.
I plan to manipulate this photograph by Melvin Sokolsky in Photoshop in order to use it without requesting permission to use his work. At the end of the process I will have four developed pieces. One will incorporates the scanogram I created and one will be patterned based, with two more of my experimentation.
